Internet Explorer is a popular web browser occupying major part of the browser market share. Steps to Speed Up Internet Explorer

Step 1: Navigate to Start> Run

Step 2: Type REGEDIT and enter to open up the Windows Registry Editor.

Step 3: Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings".

Step 4: Search for two values known as 'MaxConnectionsPerServer and MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server’. If not, execute the underlying steps:

• Right click on the right panel.
• Choose "New > DWORD Value".
• Create two DWORD Values as the previous one.

Step 6: Modify the value depending upon the connection speed. If you use DSL, set volume between 10 to 16. And if you are using dial up, set value to 6.

Step 7: Perform the same step as 6 for MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server.

Step 8: Close the Registry Editor.

Step 9: Restart the Internet Explorer.
